Thank you for waiting.
I’m back and embarking on the path I started over five years ago: creating content aimed at inspiring you to be an exalted version of yourself. With fun. With passion. With ease.
I even have a team now. We’ve been working together to create the plan you’ll see rolling out over the next several months.
But this? This I know how to do. My weekly blog. It’s like riding a bicycle. As we get ready to launch what I’ve created, I need to know you still want to be here. That has always been one of my personal tenets: only wanting to work with, play with and be with people who want to work, play, and be with me.
(Nothing personal if you opt out. You’re welcome back any time!)
So where did I go? Two major events precipitated my pause. First was the death of my Dad. It wasn’t unexpected, but how do you ever prepare for that? I feel like I just deflated.
In retrospect, maybe the other event was a good-thing-in-disguise: six months prior to my Dad’s passing, I stepped up to be Team Mom for my youngest son’s D1 lacrosse team (1,000 miles from home). It’s not that I necessarily wanted more on my plate, but I respected the mom that was retiring and no one else would take over…Anyway, it was, literally, like a full-time job! I had no idea. I was, for two solid years, singularly focused on watching Jack play and organizing the parents to take care of the team before and after games. Now that I’ve passed that torch on to two fabulous women (and Jack has graduated), I’m back – doing what I love. Talking to you!
Thank you for being here – it will be worth it to stick around, I promise. I’m here to make things simple. To reduce the overwhelm and the chaos and the confusion in the land of healthy lifestyle, mindset, and self-care with resources and tips and tried and true advice. I believe when you feel good, you do good. Doing good has a whole host of benefits. We’ll explore those too.
What you think about is as important as what you do physically. Each influences the other so intricately it becomes the chicken or the egg exercise. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a sense of purpose? To achieve it calmly? Simply? In perfect timing? For the highest good of all involved? When you do good, you feel good.
All boats rise with the tide, and together we can create our own colorful, joyous and extraordinary flotilla.
Thanks for being here. It wouldn’t be the same without you.
